Hand-made Worry Doll

Today I finished making a worry doll. She was very hard to make, but it was a big accomplishmint in the end. The supplies needed to make a worry doll are string, rubber bands, glue, a bead, and a lot of toothpicks. This is what the finished product looks like:

Rosey has a red mini sweater over a red t-shirt. The skirt she is wearing is light pink. Her hair is a dark, dark, brown. I learned how to make her on Snapguide. Snapguide has tutorials on how to make and do cool things.

My New Pet

This weekend, I got a new pet. It is a betta fish. I chose a male because they have bigger, prettier fins. My betta fish is red, blue and purple. His name is Phoenix. Here is a picture of him:

IMG_1429He lives in a 3 gallon fish tank. Phoenix was going to live in an Aquafarm, which we got from our friend. But once we got the Aquafarm, we realized that the tank was too big and the top didn’t fit right.

I got Phoenix from Petco after going to the movies and Thai dinner. This fish was one of the cheapest. The others that had bigger fins cost about 5 dollars more. His fins are squished up in this picture, but sometimes his fins are spread out and beautiful. The reason of this is that every male betta fish gets intimitated by other male betta fish, so they spread out their fins to look bigger and stronger. Phoenix is an awesome fish, though! 😉
